Jobseeker calls for investigation into the incompetence of Jobcentre Plus staff

A Jobcentre Plus customer who has been victimized on multiple occasions due to errors of the Bailey Court Jobcentre Plus in Sheffield is calling upon the authorities to hold an impartial investigation into the incompetence of its staff.

The customer, currently identified as Claimant X, stated that the staff at the Bailey Court Jobcentre Plus seem to be making errors approximately 50% of the time and that some of these errors have affected customers in an extremely adverse manner, including customers having to starve without food as a result of the errors made by staff at the Jobcentre Plus.

"When an individual is on Jobseekers Allowance, they receive about £144.00 every two weeks. When deductions for social fund loans etc: are made, this could potentially come down to less than £ 9.00 a day. When an individual has to survive on less than £ 9.00 per day and cover food, clothing, travel and utility bills with that £ 9.00, even a slight delay in receiving a payment could mean having to starve till the payment is received", Claimant X stated.

"Therefore, errorrs on the part of Jobcentre Plus Staff which lead to delays in payments being made to customers should be considered as serious violations of the customer's health and safety. This is why, after being victimized by multiple errors of the Sheffield Bailey Court Jobcentre Plus, I have decided to initiate a campaign calling upon the authorities to hold an investigation into the incompetence of the staff of the Sheffield Bailey Court Jobcentre Plus", Claimant X added.

Some of the errors that have been made by DWP staff with regard to Claimant X are, not entering sign-in evidence, providing wrong information, recording wrong information, distorting information, suspending Jobseeker's Allowance due to lack of awareness (by staff) on DWP requirements and violating DWP policy guidelines due to lack awareness  etc: (Click here for more details).

"Most of these errors have seriously impacted upon me. Although I have complained about these mistakes to the DWP, not much has been done. I am also disappointed that when I attempted to reveal these errors, Jobcentre Plus staff have resorted to classing my behavior (of mainly attempting to audio record them, with the intention of exposing their errors) as unacceptable. I think this is a another shameful attempt by them to focus the attention away from their incompetence" Claimant X said.

Using blogs, Claimant X has described in detail, the ordeals faced when dealing with the Sheffield Bailey Court Jobcentre Plus.  These detailed descriptions could be accessed on: http://u-in-sheffield.blogspot.co.uk/
